This stainless steel pendant is based on the theme of Freemasonry. This pendant is engraved with the masonic logo and the Eye of Providence, and Annuit Cœptis is engraved on both sides of the pendant, which is one of two mottos on the reverse side of the Great Seal of the United States. The literal translation is "favors (or "has favored") [our] undertakings", from Latin annuo ("I approve, I favor"), and coeptum ("commencement, undertaking"). The all-seeing eye is a symbol that depicts the eye, usually enclosed in a triangle, surrounded by light or glory, intended to represent God's providence, and God's eyes are watching humans in it. The reason why Freemasonry used this logo at that time was to warn the members of Freemasonry that everything they thought and did was observed by God.
